Bucket list ideas for 2019!
It's time to start thinking of those New Years Resolutions
Nearing the end of 2018 its time to start thinking of those New Years Resolutions and what 2019 may hold for you. Have you ever thought of creating a Bucket list? It's a great way to write down what you really want to do and work towards in the future.
Bucket list experiences are life-changing for some whether it's learning to play that musical instrument you always wanted, skydiving in New Zealand or finally going on that whale swim adventure. We have compiled a list of peoples TOP bucket list experiences to inspire you to take that opportunity and dive right in...
1. Visit a world heritage site
UNESCO has comprised a list of every listed site in the world from the Great Pyramids in Egypt to the Baroque cathedrals of Latin America. Feel inspired by these cultural wonders in your own country or others. Did you know Australia has 19 heritage listed sites?

2. Swimming with Whales
We are lucky enough to be part of many peoples bucket list. Taking groups on a whale swim adventure where they can swim with whales, swim with dolphins, swim with sharks, swim with stingrays, the list goes on! Underwater adventures are life changing and we live by the motto love protect connect. If swimming with whales is on your bucket list pick a company who is passionate about the ocean and meet these majestic creatures in a loving protective manner.

3. Climb a volcano
For all of the adrenaline junkies out there this is on top of their list. Especially if climbing an active volcano is a thrill. The picturesque Mount Fuji in Japan is best to climb July to mid-September, famous for its view from the ground but why not try that selfie from the summit! What about seeing lava flow? Try Kilauea in Hawaii only 120 metres high and open year round just make sure you check volcano activity before climbing.
4. Inspire another person
People are often inspired when other people are following their passion or doing something they have always wanted to do. Why not create a bucket list with a friend or family member and inspire them to achieve a goal or bucket list item? Inspire someone to try a new food with you, go to an art class, take that initiative and book the holiday they have always wanted. Together you can achieve more.
5. Do something unique
Everyone is unique with different tastes and passions, why not delve into something that sparks an interest you have never thought about before? Wonderful and unique, here are some ideas to get you started; navigate a personal underwater submarine, make your own skincare, attend a poetry reading, be an extra in a movie, fly on a trapeze, learn a line dance, dye your hair a crazy colour for a day or create your own cocktail!
6. Solo Travel
We all know travel expands the mind and gives you priceless experiences. What about going solo? Whether it's travelling across Europe on your own or booking that retreat you've been talking about. Going solo is a way to gain confidence and meet lifetime friends along the way, plus when you come back home you can share your stories and inspire another to try solo travel.
7. Help a charity
This year why not help a charity or a company you are passionate about. Helping a charity doesn't necessarily mean donating money, you could buy a product they sell or even volunteer your time. RSPCA Queensland have a team of over 500 volunteers, whatever your skill is (photography, admin, design) you can contribute to a charitable company. At Majestic Whale Encounters, we pride ourselves on collaborating with charities we feel are doing great things like Take 3 for the sea and Coral Gardeners. Whom will you collaborate with this year?
